As fighting rages in Ukraine, S1mple makes a sizable donation to a charity founded by Volodymyr Zelenskyy

Once again, Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev has expressed his solidarity with Ukraine throughout this conflict. The current president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, founded a nonprofit group called UNITED24, and the famed CS:GO player just gave them $100,000. Natus Vincere will be partnering with UNITED24 to spread the word about their gift.

During the conflict, the Ukrainian government plans to utilize the donated $100,000 to purchase ambulances and other medical supplies.

Any donations made via UNITED24 go straight to the National Bank of Ukraine and Medical Aid. According to the announcement, almost $200,000,000 has been given.

Many famous people from all around the globe have signed on as UNITED24 ambassadors. These people include Andriy Shevchenko, a former soccer player, Imagine Dragons, and Barbra Streisand, a famous singer.

UNITED24 announced on Twitter that it would be hosting a charity esports competition to benefit medical aid in Ukraine. Details about this competition, however, are yet unknown.
