With Evil Geniuses leaving the North American Dota 2 scene, the future of the area has been the focus of fan speculation in recent days. EG Fly said that the former EG lineup was “mainly” aiming to keep together, thus it doesn’t appear like NA will be losing skill despite losing one of the most legendary organizations in Dota.
Tal “Fly” Aizik recently broadcast a hopeful message to North American Dota 2 fans by discussing the team’s position and status after the EG.

Since EG has made the roster public, it is up to us to decide whether we want to play together, Fly remarked. The roster will alter, but we’ll still be playing in North America.
Fly said that the team will be remaining together with some small alterations despite the dismissal of several members from the lineup.
Cr1t has also given strong hints that he intends to remain in NA, therefore it seems that the team will keep two of its key players together. However, Arteezy was recently seen at a BLACKPINK performance in Canada, so it seems unlikely that she would be leaving the area very soon.

Nightfall is probably going to be one of the stated shifts. The group intended to reunite with TORONTOTOKYO once they returned to their home territory. Because of this, Fly and company will be looking for a new offlaner once again.

Over the last several years, the previous EG roster has often switched offlaners only to end up with the same record each season. EG has been struggling in the playoffs of the main event, despite doing well in practice and at the beginning of LAN tournaments.
During the broadcast, Fly remarked that the team will “hopefully” retain their DPC place, sparing them the trouble of having to compete in the open qualifiers.
