Bengi T1 : In 2023, Bae “Bengi” Seong-woong will still be leading T1’s League of Legends team as head coach thanks to a new deal. Announcing the famed former jungler as their head coach for the next season, the squad also said goodbye to Kim “Moment” Ji-hwan and Kim “Asper” Tae-gi.
Bengi T1 HEAD COACH

Since Bengi, age 28, took over as temporary head coach on September 4 after the club finished second in the 2022 LCK Summer Playoffs, he won’t be completely out of his element. Bengi captained T1 to the finals of Worlds 2022, where they ultimately lost to DRX for the sixth time in the franchise’s existence.
Choi “Polt” Seong-hun, the team’s head coach before Bengi’s September arrival, switched roles with Bengi and became the team’s general manager. Additionally, he left the company on November 13.
As Bengi takes over as head coach and three other staff members leave, it’s probable that T1 is reorganizing its League coaching staff in preparation for the next season. There have been no speculations about impending departures from the active roster.

However, next year the LCK will have a new format. The playoffs will now be a double-elimination format, and the teams will all be on the same roster.
